The Longshore Drifters exist to breathe new life into old school country music. Harmony-rich duets and songcraft are at the heart of their retro-modern honky-tonk sound. Since forming the band late in 2022 after a chance meeting between songwriters Michelle Miller & Mark J. Lee at a late-night Hastings Old Town picking session, they have quickly gained a reputation for passionately reinvigorating classic country sounds both on stage and in the studio. From Telecaster twang driven roof raisers to smoky 3 am heartbreak ballads The Longshore Drifters serve it all up with equal parts rhinestone swagger and ‘down home’ charm & humility.
