Stella has been a familiar and welcoming figure on the Bexhill seafront for 21 years, running The Old Bathing Station in all weathers, providing hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams. In honour of her service to the community and its visitors, Bexhill Heritage, which masterminded the restoration of nearby Coronation Bandstand, has organised a mini celebration concert featuring the local talents of Bob Hammond, The Shady Ladies and The Other Band. This is a free, outdoor event.
