Hi Jane
Naon Mighall is part of my family history and he was one of about 16 children from East Hoathly – nearly all the children had a first name starting with N. I have lots of stuff about the Mighalls and we need to work out what you want and what I have.
Edith’s parents were Reuben Jarrott born before 1846 and Sarah or Emma Isted b 07101849 at Burwsah. Her parents were George Isted and Ellen Sands.
Hope we can help each other
Patrick Mighall – East Sussex
Hi Patrick, My son is in UK on holiday and I was looking up his Great Grandfather’s birth place when I came across your message Edith Jarrett was my father’ mother, my father was Douglas Naon Mighall and we lived on the farm that his father purchased (Ruben Mighall) who changed his name to Richard when he joined the army but everyone called him Dick. My father inherited the farm from Ruben. How are you related to the Mighall’s do you still live in East Sussex? maybe my son, Callum who is 21 could maybe meet up with you?? Best regards Tracey (Mighall) Layton
